ML/MC/MY capacitors start and run motors

ML MC MY are single phase aluminium motors ;

ML: dual capacitor series ;

MC: capacitor start series ;

MY: capacitor run series ;

ML and MC series are with centrifugal switch, which are suitable for high start torque application like air com-pressor.

MY series is mainly for low start torque application such as fan and pums.

ML. MC MY series motor are known as low temperature rise and lower noise, IP54 protection, F-class insulation,B-level temperature rise, S1 duty, rated voltage 220V, 50HZ.

Capacitor operated motors and capacitor starting motors are two different types of single-phase induction motors, which have wide applications in households and commercial places.

1、 Capacitor operated motor

1. Working principle

Capacitor operated motors improve their power factor and performance by operating capacitors. The operating capacitor works continuously throughout the entire operation of the motor, adjusting the power factor of the motor by changing the value of the capacitor, thereby making it have a higher power factor in the low power range.

2. Characteristics

High power factor: It can significantly improve the power factor of the motor, which helps to save energy and reduce emissions.

Energy saving and environmental protection: Due to its high power factor, it reduces the consumption of reactive power and lowers energy consumption.

Simple structure: The design is relatively simple and the operation is reliable.

3. Application scope

Capacitor operated motors are widely used in household small electric tools, electric rice cookers, mixers, as well as small fans, pumps, and other equipment in commercial places.

2、 Capacitive starter motor

1. Working principle

The capacitor starter motor is started by an auxiliary starter capacitor. When the motor starts, the auxiliary starting capacitor will generate a phase shift to help the motor overcome static friction and achieve starting. When the motor reaches sufficient speed, the starting capacitor will automatically disconnect from the circuit.

2. Characteristics

High starting torque: capable of generating a large starting torque, suitable for loads that require a large starting torque.

Simple structure: The electric motor has a relatively simple structure and low manufacturing cost.

Capacitor detachment after startup: The detachment of the capacitor from the circuit after startup may result in a lower power factor during operation.

3. Application scope

Capacitor starter motors are suitable for single-phase induction motors in a large power range, such as single-phase induction motors in household appliances such as washing machines, fans, and air conditioners, as well as pumps, fans, and other equipment in commercial places.
