AC servo motor is a device that converts electrical energy into mechanical energy, mainly composed of stator winding (or electromagnet winding) and rotor. This type of motor works by utilizing the phenomenon of the energized coil rotating under force in a magnetic field, and is mainly divided into two types: AC asynchronous servo motors and AC synchronous servo motors. The following is a detailed introduction about AC servo motors:


1、 Basic composition

AC servo motors are mainly composed of stator, rotor, and driver. Two phase windings with a spatial difference of 90 ° in electrical angle are placed in the stator, one phase is the excitation winding and the other phase is the control winding. The rotor is mostly a permanent magnet structure. The driver adjusts the power supply frequency and voltage according to the control signal to achieve precise control of the motor.


2、 Working principle

The working principle of communication servo motor is based on phase shift and frequency change to control the steering and speed of the transmission shaft. Specifically, the driver changes the motor speed by adjusting the power supply frequency, and achieves the forward and reverse rotation of the motor by changing the phase of the control signal. When the motor receives a pulse signal, it will rotate by the corresponding angle according to the frequency and phase of the signal, thereby achieving precise position control.
